Case Study
A two week residential business leadership programme for 60 Saudi Arabian delegates based at the University of Reading. One female and one male clinician was provided for 24 hour medical and first aid cover. The young people undertook leadership task training, sports, classroom lessons and educational field trips before returning to their accommodation each night at the university. For many of the delegates this was the first extended time away from their parents. The clinical team dealt with sports injuries, menstrual pains, panic attacks, asthma, and medication reviews, and were a valuable asset for the students to talk through their concerns.
